Yeah, well we knew all that. truth is there's a lot of punks out there, and they need their asses kicked. But we don't look better when we go toe to toe--we just look like them. Screw them, I say. I act the way I want to act, and it's not like that.

Though if I saw some goofballs screaming at tourists I'd probably kick them all the way back to the sleazy trailer park they come from.

I'm getting so tired of hearing about the backlash. I think half of it is simple because the mags/media want to stoke the fire for their own benefit. I'm all for teaching beginners how not to be kooks but I'm sick and tired of reading comments from a bunch of whining short boarders that seem to think they own the ocean.

Somewhat related...a beach on the Cape is going to be closed to surfing during the summer because some shortboarders started screaming at some tourists about their kids playing in the waves. Telling them to go @#$%ing home. So all the tourists on the Cape should go home...and cause economic ruin to the businesses there....all because a few punks think they own the beach.

They talk of sharing and in reality its all about them being selfish.
