Oxbow 11
Board Name: Oxbow 11
Manufacturer: BIC Sport
Length: 11′ Width: 28.5″ Volume: ? Weight: ?
Weight Range: ? Skill: Beginner to Advanced
A stable, light, beginner or intermediate board. Great looking board and a great price point. Comes with a 9″ fiberglass center fin and two FCS GC side-bites.
From Oxbow’s website: 11′0″ is an all-round cruiser. It likes to paddle in straight lines and does so well and quick with its significantly longer waterline length, giving a faster and better tracking board for paddling distance. If flat water cruising with the ability to encounter a few waves is your need, then check out the 11′0″.

“excellent initial stability”
“Very fast to catch waves, good punching through waves” (Intermediate Male, 180 lbs.)
“Good stability and glide; I love the soft pad” (Intermediate Male 200 lbs.)
“Needs more nose rocker to reduce pearling (2)” (Intermediate Male, 190 lbs. & Intermediate Male, 200 lbs.)
Summary: This board has a lot of glide for a 11′, it tracks very well. It’s a good cruiser and an adequate surfer–excellent compromise for light to middleweight beginners or intermediate cruisers. Beginners who weigh more than 210 you should probably look at a wider or longer board, intermediate/expert surfers would probably want a surfier board.

I asked Bob (StoneAxe) to be careful with “my” board (I like this one)
