I own 2 PSH boards, a 9’6 production and 10’0 hand glassed. Both boards have similar surfing traits. These boards surf like they have large continuous rocker lines, nose to tail. I say this because they are very responsive to where you stand longitudinally on the board. This characteristic gives you tremendous confidence surfing because the boards are very responsive. Making late drops is easy too. By comparison, several other boards I owned were the opposite of this. These other boards required large amounts of running up and down the deck to make them perform. Some did not perform at all until standing all the way back on the tail. This is not the case with these PSH boards. My reference to other boards was not meant to trash other brands, but simply to help you better understand the way this rocker line feels different. When you move up and down the deck, the change in board trim feels progressive and smooth.
Summary: To summarize, these boards just feel really fun to surf, and come alive on a wave, from almost any place on the deck.

The boards run thicker than some, so they really suit average to heavy guys.
