Reviewer impressions The board is somewhat tippy for my weight but this has gone away with time spent on the board. It comes with a step deck giving you a much smaller rail and is very much like riding a high performance longboard, surfs very well. The step deck is only 21″ wide before it drops of this adds to the tippyness. I prefer the step deck as you are able to grip on the step with your toes giving you more control over the board.I did not like the pad it came with so I replaced it with a C4 pad. I also took the 2+1 fin set up out and ride it with a thruster set up with a slightly larger back fin, this has made the board a lot more responsive both in paddling for waves and riding them. Seems the board can handle both small and large waves easily.Overall a great board.The paddle it came with is a little on the heavy side so I use it on windy days only.The tail is a diamond with a full nose.
