From the SIC website: We finally succumbed. We looked at the short SUP’s and made fun of them for some time. And so what made us change? The fun factor. These boards are just as stable as your average 12 footer and twice as maneuverable. They are light and versatile. The quad fin set up gives you a loose, pivotal board in the 2 – 5 foot surf, and if the surf gets more powerful put your center fin back and you are back to a regular thruster set up that will give you control in the more powerful juice. All boards come with a Quad FCS set and a center box for a truster set up, a handle, 3/4 size EVA pad, double leash plugs, automatic breather check valve and drain plug. Medium full rails thinned out in the back. Full under tuck with small casted edge. Flat deck. Winger squash tail. Flat bottom with panel V in the back. Construction: Styrofoam (non-water absorbing) vacuum bagged with epoxy and a hybrid of carbon/kevlar/glass/coremat and a tough gelcoat finish. Performs best with riders weight not exceeding 195 lbs.

Evaluators said:
“Turns great” (Advanced Male, 120 lbs.)
“Hot little board, turns like on it’s on rails, surprising stability”(Advanced Male, 100 lbs.)
“Super loose, really quick”
“Too much for me, I’d need to lose twenty pounds to really enjoy this. Fun in a wave though” (220# intermediate male)
“Carves hard, a real ripper” (Intermediate Male, 170 lbs.)

Summary: A challenging, powerful surfer that will raise your game. The lighter you are or the more advanced you are, the better the board gets.
