Kayak SUP?

Striding in class iv falls I think this guy needs a SUP board. Kyle Disque, who is a member of the vintage Triumph racing club I belong to (FOT aka Friends of Triumph) alerted me to this form of Kayaking called Striding where you stand in a kayak with a longer paddle. This guy, Jeff Snyder, of Maryland, is the inventor of the form, and he’s regularly seen standing casually in class four and five rapids. Something tells me he’d be pretty comfortable SUP surfing in big waves. I did a lame, flatwater version of this when I was at a family reunion in Falmouth, MA. The house was on a river but I didn’t bring my SUP board. I tried a Kayak but sitting in it made my back ache, so I tried standing with an extension tied to the paddle. Much better.
