Robert Stehlik of Blue Planet Surf Shop, Honolulu did a great spreadsheet of paddle weights for all the paddles in his shop. I’ve used his data and added the weights of the Ke Nalu line. As you can see, the Ke Nalu paddles are among the lightest available. Don’t let that lightness scare you, they are also among the strongest and toughest paddles on the market. Just like with people, more weight doesn’t always mean more strength. Sometimes it’s just fat.
